Tri-State Hosted 26th Annual NWRA Symposium

Tri-State recently hosted the National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association’s 2008 Symposium in Cherry Hill, New Jersey on March 4-8, 2008. The schedule was packed with workshops, seminars, and information sessions, including presentations by Tri-State staff. Tri-State’s oil spill staff, in cooperation with IBRRC, gave a one-day seminar on how to safely and effectively assist in the event of an oil spill. About 150 attendees visited Tri-State’s Frink Center for Wildlife, where staff and volunteers gave tours of the facility.

The week was a great opportunity for Tri-State to showcase its facilities, staff expertise, and volunteer commitment. Many thanks go out to the volunteers who helped get the Center ready, worked on the tours, and assisted at the symposium.
